History Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe vs. Ferrari
History Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe vs. Ferrari | American Cars
SHELBY Cobra Daytona Coupe was the American car built to dominate the FIA GT class racing. Shelby and his team were the first American to successfully defeating Ferrari in its own on July 4, 1965 with this car.
Now the car CSX2601 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe that had made a name so that the legendary Carroll Shelby will be auctioned and is expected to be able to record a record high prices.
Auction mecum auction house that specialized in providing auction services scale cars collectors items and high-performance cars will offer this car at 22nd mecum Fund Auction Original Spring Classic of the coming May 13-17 in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States.
This auction activities will also be aired on Discovery's HD Theater at 20:00 local time on May 15 that will come.
"A lot of race car that has a strong record in the arena of American racing history, including his brother CSX 2299, but none of them can claim to have a record exceeds the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe CSX2601," the president said mecum Auction, Dana mecum.
He asserted that 'the heritage items' printers victory in this world championship we store more than 4 decades to remind us at times when pride in American racing history and spirit of a victory in the face of all odds.
It is estimated that these vehicles will terlelang priced between U.S. $ 10 million to U.S. $ 15 million even though the economy is going through the fall. This is to prove that the historical value could not be calculated in money.
Although the status of race car, Cobra Daytona coupe is also feasible to use on the highway. The proof of this car once owned by a businessman in North Dakota, who used it as a means of transportation to travel 480 km every day. Maybe he's right, the article he has some gas station.

Hummer H2 Limo | Hummer H2 limousine
Sample image above is the Hummer H2 limousine as a place to live. There are also other types of Hummer: shutdown hummer, hummer h3, stretch hummer, hummer h1.
Car Hummer H2 is one of everyone's dream car for its large and visible "cruel" seems a luxury car or car transportation would think 10 times to "cut" way.
Although the Hummer H2 is better known as off-road car or to travel to areas difficult to pass, Hummer H2 found itself well suited to be a "small house" for some people and even looks very feminine, too.

The Use of Small Cars and Green Car to Reduce CO2 Levels
Carscoop.com presented data showing, in five major European markets, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and England, the average CO2 emissions from new cars of all categories (including SUVs) in circulation, indicate the number 3.26 tons / year since early 2008. This means experienced a reduction of 0.11 tons / year since 2007.
This shows, the use of small cars and green cars in Europe have a very positive impact in reducing CO2 levels.
In Japan, the average CO2 emissions for new cars down from 3.16 tons / year in 2007 to 3.10 tons / year during 2008. But in the U.S., the new car average of 5.77 tons CO2/tahun issue.
This fact was surprising considering the U.S. is known for the most vocal in promoting the use of environmentally friendly emissions.

Chevrolet's Sales Across the Pond Fall Flat
A major problem in GM's planning is Russia, which was predicted to overtake Germany as the largest European market in the near future. Automotive sales in the Russian market plummeted by 50% last year to 1.45 million in 2009.
Autofacts, a division of PriceWatwerhouseCoopers, explains, "The financial crisis has underlined many structural weaknesses that will likely impact the future trajectory of the market."
Here's what the analysts have to say:
Walt Madeira (CSM Worldwide):
"I would think 425,000 this year is going to be difficult. Anything above 375,000 I would say is very good, but they will be hard-pressed to do even that. Long term, I would say 600,000 by 2015 or 2016 is more likely."
"The [Russian] scrapping program is aimed to help Russian manufacturers like Lada. Chevrolet's sales projections assume a recovery in Russia. If it was a three million market, they might end up selling 300,000 or 350,000 but that doesn't seem to be the case. Russia doesn't look like it's recovering as fast as China, Brazil or India."
Professor Ferdinand Dudenhoeffer (Center for Automotive Research, University of Duisberg-Essen):
"Do they have better models? No way because VW, Nissan-Renault, Kia-Hyundai, Fiat and many others have far better sales. Do they have a specific advantage in technology? It's just GM. Do they have better cost structures? No way...In a few years Chinese brands like BYD and Geely will be in Europe. They will increase sales by chasing Chevy drivers. The brand is very weak."
Jonathon Poskitt (J.D. Power and Associates):
"As Russia does make progress, Chevrolet will, of course, benefit from its significant presence there. There is room for Chevrolet to increase brand awareness in Europe and it will be helped by building on a solid portfolio of models and by entering new segments...I see Chevrolet competing more with the likes of Hyundai/Kia, Fiat, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, etc. than Opel."
Chevrolet's European range currently includes the new Spark city car, the Aveo supermini, the subcompact Lacetti, the Epica sedan, the Captiva SUV and the new Cruze sedan.
Within the next two years, GM will enhance the firm's line-up with the next-generation Aveo, the Orlando MPV and the Camaro which will be Chevy's halo car.
If anyone has thoughts on how to promote Chevrolet in Europe, drop your ideas in the comments section below

Motorcycle Riding Tips: What To Pack On A Cross Country Tour
Welcome to Harley Davidson Accessories Guide.
Motorcycle Riding Tips: What To Pack On A Cross Country Tour
One of the most exciting part of motorcycling is going on a cross-country tour, whether it be a weekend jaunt or a full-blown month long cruising hiatus.
There are lots of choices of which types of luggage to take with you on your bike such as saddlebags, tail bags, tank bags, fanny packs or even a glorified coat hanger we now call a sissy bar bag. Just make sure every space count when you start stuffing items on your saddle bag. Choose tools like the army knife which performs various chores, resealable plastic bags which you can store dirty clothes or use to dispose of any trash. Another example is a bandanna, which you can use as neck protection, bandage or face shield cleaner.
Another motorcycle riding tip is to remember that the motorcycle's handling and braking will change once you get all your stuff on board, not to mention you will be bringing along a passenger and her stuff as well. That will add more weight. Make sure the air pressure in your tires is the correct one. Always bring along a tire gauge. The suspension settings are stiffen to accommodate the extra load.
Before heading out on the road, practice in a vacant lot to get a feel of any noticeable difference in the handling of the motorcycle like losing a measure of your maximum acceleration and increasing your braking distance.
Buy quality bungee cords and bungee nets which you can tie and loop around your luggage. Strap it on your bike for security of not losing your bags along the way. Even if your motorcycle or saddlebags have fasteners and bag guards you need added security of keeping your luggage from sliding down into the rear wheel by strapping your entire luggage than it seems to require.
One of the most important thing you can't leave home without is your cellphone. Encode your in case of emergency (ICE) numbers and phone number of a bunch of people that are ready to help or rescue you if something goes awry with your touring trek. Of course, you don't want to be caught in the middle of nowhere with a dead cellphone. So make sure to bring a spare battery, charger and a mechanism wherein you can charge your cellphone from the bike.
Just one of the few motorcycle riding tips is to always place the heaviest stuff on the bottom of your saddlebag closest to the center of the bike as possible. Line your luggage with trash bags in case it rains. Bring synthetic type of clothes, Cotton is a big no no. Cotton absorbs sweat and dries slowly.
For camping equipment, a small two-men tent works just fine and self-inflatable mattress that blow itself up. In the morning you just open the valve, roll it up and you are good to go. Limit to one pot and eating utensils.
Bring along food, unless you have ridden the road before you can never be too sure when the next meal is coming up.
The trick here is to keep your load manageable. Pack for all imaginable kinds of conditions you are likely to encounter but keep the load as sparse as possible. I suggest you use a three bag system of various sizes. Bag one-for the rider's needs, Bag two- for motorcycle tools and Bag-three for clothes.
If you buy quality products you are done shopping for years. If you have problems arising during your odyssey, it's comforting to know that the solution is probably in the bag.

Performance Stats and Mega McLaren Automotive MP4-12C: Pe
The 12C (as they refer to it) packs a mid-mounted 3.8 liter V8, developed in-house by McLaren. Thanks to the twin turbos, it develops 600-horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque.
According to the McLaren, the supercar is capable of reaching 100km/h (62mph) in less than 3,0 seconds and 200 km/h (124mph) in under 10 seconds while completing the quarter mile in around 11 seconds and reaching a top speed in excess of 200mph or 322km/h.
In comparison, the Ferrari 458 Italia hits the 100km/h marque in 3.4 seconds and achieves a top sped of 325km/h (202 mph) while the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 goes from 0 to 100km/h in 3.7 sec and to 200km/h in 11.8 sec, and tops out at 325 km/h (202 mph).
While we'll have to wait until later this year for a lock on pricing (McLaren is claiming a range of £125,000-175,000), company reps had this to say about the future 911-fighter's litheness:
"Reducing weight is an obsession at McLaren...Recent developments have lowered the MonoCell's [the one-piece moulded carbon-fibre chassis] weight further to below 80 kg, whilst continued lightweight engineering supports McLaren Automotive's plans to launch the 12C at a lighter dry weight than any competitor at around 1,300 kg [2,867 lbs]."
Just to get the point across, McLaren was kind enough to list the other ways their car is slimmer than anyone else's:
* Standard composite brake system of forged aluminium and cast iron is lighter than the optional carbon-ceramic brake system, saving five kilos
* Low-weight Lithium-Ion battery saves 10kgs
* Lightweight magnesium structural beam supports the dashboard
* Small, twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivers 600PS from 3.8-litre capacity
* Rear mounted engine cooling radiators minimize the pipework, the fluids contained within them, and therefore weight. They were also mounted in car line to minimize vehicle width and weight.
* Hexagonal aluminium wiring saves four kilos over circular wiring.
When the extremely light, high-output, and supercar fast MP4-12C goes on sale next year, it will be at unique McLaren dealerships in 19 countries around the world.
Until then, enjoy the comprehensive photo gallery of the new McLaren that includes shots from this week's presentation.
Set to be let loose upon the public come Spring 2011, McLaren Automotive's MP4-12C has a lot to live up to. In order to make sure attention hasn't been waning, McLaren recently had the car's public unveiling at its HQ in Woking, England, where the maker released more details on the MP4-12C including the supercar's performance stats.

Motorcycle Security Systems
Welcome To Harley Davidson Accessories Guide.
There are various motorcycle security systems in the current market as there are many ways thefts can steal your motorcycle. For starters, the crooks can chisel and use bolt cutters on your motorcycle chains. Some even use tools like torches and grinders. More serious criminals will lift your two-wheeler and load it into a waiting van and deal with the locks later at his own leisure. Others will get away with your motorcycle during a test ride and never some back.
You don't have to deal with anger, denial and all other mixed emotions that you will go through arising from a traumatic experience of having your bike stolen by protecting your ride. You really have no reason to leave your most prized possession at risk. You have to have a little foresight and more determination to out-step the bad guys.
There are several practical ways to decrease the odds of your machines being pilfered. Though no single motorcycle security system is totally foolproof but consider your peace of mind.
You are proud of your motorcycle. That's a fact. But don't park it in front of everybody attracting different kinds of attention and passing thieves can easily cozy up to it. If you don't have a garage , buy a motorcycle cover, lock your bike and cover it. Not knowing what is underneath the cover, makes it difficult to assess of stealing it.Metal grommets on a motorcycle cover can be locked in place to prevent the cover itself from being stolen and shoo away prying eyes.
You will need secondary locks. You can use a combination of locks like fork lock, steering lock, brake disc lock, u-locks,chains,lever locks on the clutch etc. The thieves would have no time nor the expertise to tackle different locks in one setting. Make sure the chains doesn't loop or drape on the ground for the thief to easily cut it with bolt cutter. The chain should be as tight as possible and pit the locks in hard-to-reach angle. The strong u-lock and chain use to attach your bike to a solid object like lamppost, fence or another vehicle preventing professional culprit s of lifting away your motorcycle into their truck.
If you have the extra cash and want to go high tech ,buy alarmed disc locks. Cutting chains, removing locks or even lifting your motorcycle cover can start the alarm and will make noise. get an alarm with pager that notifies you when someone tampers with it. You can't always be around the area where your bike is. So an alarm with a page is a good investment.
Don't park your motorcycle next to big truck or van. Choose carefully a spot to park where felons cannot intentionally block the view of your bike.
Fix a Datatag or Alpha Dot security marking system or use an ultra violet pen to mark you driver's license and other identification on body panels, frame. engines or seat. In case your motorcycle get stolen, you have better chance of getting your bike or parts back, if the police can identify them with you ID on the bike parts. This will also help convict the thief or the handler of stolen parts as well.
Take a picture of your bike, so that police will know what they are looking for. Have all important information such as Vin and license plate number and registration documents handy.
Of course, make sure your motorcycle and accessories have insurance coverage. Insurance will not keep your motorcycle from being stolen but the experience will not make it that traumatic.
You can choose either professionally installed motorcycle security system or the DIY kind.
There are lots of different locking system in the market, ranging from the top of the line to items you can scrounge at your local hardware store. Of course, the difference would mean the cost and the added benefit of decreased insurance premiums. You have a choice really, to stop thieves from rolling your motorcycle away and discourage street prowlers in search of an easy target by decreasing your motorcycle's theft potential by putting a kind of motorcycle security system on your bike.

Kinds XJ Jaguar Cars And Reviews
And somewhere in the crowd lurked a new car. Yes, reader, this glamorous event was nothing more than the motor industry disclosure. Except for the automotive journalists seem to have been abducted and replaced by the Hollywood tinsel.
So now marque think youth, celebrity and fashion is the way forward? Lamborghini, perhaps? Fiat Cheeky? Urban MINI?
Nope. The answer is Jaguar, the Coventry cat, the last refuge of a tie, mustache-sporting, cigar-puffing corporate and executive golf series, which is exclusively for more than 50 and have never heard of Elle Macwhatserface. Jaguar.
Except that Jaguar does not exist anymore, for the car in the middle of last summer party, the new XJ, marking the end of a sharp turnaround by the brand in recent years.
Step begins with the designer Ian Callum's arrival from Aston Martin, followed by a stream, punchy XK sports car, which makes you wonder why the boys peeled out extra bankers to Aston's V8 Vantage.
Then we have a nice XF saloon, with a pulsing red starter button, futuristic silver cylindrical gear selector is emerging from the center console, iPod connectivity funky, cool blue interior lighting and more aggression on the road than the equivalent deployed by Audi or Mercedes.
And now we have the new XJ, being built in Castle Bromwich, snoring on the start line like an old Jaguar, but with poise and more streamlined manner than anything that had brought the previous badge. Three of Germany, may also retreated across the Strait because there has never been a better reason to buy the UK.
Experts agree residues - EurotaxGlass's predicts that after three years of ownership, the new XJ will have a residual value is better than the Audi A8, Mercedes S-class or BMW 7-series, keeping 40 percent of the price.
Jason King, head of market intelligence for EurotaxGlass's, said XJ "is sure to attract a wider and younger audience, building on good work in helping brands Jaguar XF redefine itself and appeal to younger buyers.
We were not surprised to see Jaguar going head to head Mercedes S-class, traditionally the industry leader to defend these values. The XJ offers the interior, equipment and overall quality level that is more familiar to buyers of models offered by other major British luxury car brands such as Bentley and Aston Martin. "
Ah, the interior design. No one doubts it: while from the outside some people might argue that the XJ looks just like a stretch XF (actually much more slender and more sharply, with the silhouette coupé aggressive), in digging yourself into the lap of luxury that sets these cars other than from not only IF but also Teutonic rivals.
This may not feel quite so large as Germany, but far more stylish and attractive. Jaguar insists "the XJ cars are the perfect option for any president and chief executive of the British boardroom".
Please. This car is too elegant for entrepreneurs; let them find their stock in the back of a 7-series or A8. The XJ deserve an appreciative audience, a passenger who will stroke the shiny wood and cold metal fillet, and slide gracefully along the cream wrapped in leather chairs.
Base trim level, called the Luxury, gives you footwell lighting, door puddle lamps, American walnut veneer, dressed in soft leather seats and chrome circular air vents.
Stepping into the portfolio pruning and walnuts into ebony, with beautiful wood and chrome trays that fold out from the back of the front seats for laptops and executive papers - there is even a pen slot on your Montblanc tray.
Above specifications, Supersport, offering oak or, if you lose your marbles, jaw-droppingly awful choice of all black leather interior (including the roof lining and door linings doubt dotted) and the glove box and storage center lined box-purple stimulate migraine feels.
Why did you choose for your trip punk when Jaguar went to such efforts to create a sublime art-deco interior of the timber and out of my skin. Maybe for Americans.
German executives have a tricks barge their arms, but they are also fantastic to drive, as long as your idea is a fantastic hour spent eating smooth kilometer transcontinental highway. The XJ does not disappoint here, either.
This will be offered with a choice of three-liter V6 diesel or five-liter gasoline engine, with a long wheelbase option for an additional legroom (accounting for 30 per cent of UK sales).
We tested the diesel version (85 per cent of UK sales), which is the engine we know from our long-term S. XF Diesel It 's almost silent on the XJ, thanks to excessive soundproofing, and provides a lot of torque to all UK road conditions.
Press the dynamic and electronic screen in front of you go red, while you tighten the seat belt and six-speed automatic transmission with a quick drop of a few gears.
It's fun, but not required: in the comfort mode the steel coil good works convey the condition of the road while the rear air suspension kept dreaming things, like the old Jags.
Steering is fine precision instruments, and there is very little to argue with the driver's point of view. One caveat to Emptor, however: check back satnav system, in our cars, playing until the end.
Oh, and the blind, where information systems are still not functioning properly. Surrender, Jaguar.
Smart Satnavs side, XJ is a remarkable step change from his predecessor. It's more powerful, economical, much more dynamic style of driving.
We really struggle to find a bad word Jaguar today, given the average age of staff is 39 Telegraph Motoring, the work done to Coventry cat.

Report:C8 to go Radical with Mid-Mounted V6, Corvette C7 to Receive Heavy Redesign
While the Corvette C7 will essentially be a reskinned version of the current generation C6 with the emphasis said to be on interior quality and making the exterior styling more desirable to younger buyers in the States as well as to a broader international crowd, the C8 will ground-breaking, to say the least, if we are to believe the report.
A couple of weeks ago, we told you about General Motors' plans for the new Corvette, dubbed C7, that will hit the market by 2012. Now, Autoweek is bringing news on the for the next major model change, the C8, that's expected to be released after 2016.
"That [the C7] will be the last of the traditional, old-style Corvettes," said an unnamed senior GM insider to AutoWeek.
The C8, which would have been the C7 if GM hadn't entered bankruptcy last year, is said to ditch the Corvette's trademark front-mounted, large-displacement V8 setup that has been used in all six generations (though the C1 was also offered with a six-cylinder unit) for a mid-engine layout with a turbocharged V6 powertrain.
The report adds that the C8 will also boast a lightweight alloy body and a more compact footprint.
The question we pose here is this: if the report turns out to be true, and taking into consideration the introduction of the new Camaro with its old-school muscle car charm, is GM's move to turn the page on the Corvette in the right direction?

Aprilia Shiver vs Ducati Monster 696
With all the attention big, shiny, mondo power street bikes get these days, it can be pretty easy to overlook small displacement motorcycles. I mean, doesn’t every rider need 170 horsepower at the twist of their wrist? We all need to accelerate from a standstill to 100 mph in eight seconds, right? Who wouldn’t want to lay thick, 100-foot long strips of rubber on pavement?
While there will always be a small percentage of the moto population looking to carry out such hijinx, the fact is, the majority of riders who wish to keep their driving privileges need something a bit more practical. These days, though, a huge spectrum of motorbikes fit the bill, so let’s narrow it down.
2009 Ducati Monster 696
First and foremost, it’s got to be chic. Style is everything and it’s got to come first. Next up, versatility. Whether you’re dodging between cars during the heat of rush hour or blasting down wavy back roads, the bike has got to be fun, agile and easy-to-ride. Finally, there’s the almighty dollar. Not only does the price tag have to be reasonable, but it’s got to go easy on expendables like fuel and tires, plus something the wife isn’t going to kill you for spending, right? This leads us to Ducati’s Monster 696 and Aprilia’s Shiver 750.
Okay, so they’re both made in Italy, both aimed at the same style conscious rider and both include a price tag under nine grand. But beside those three common denominators, however, they’re substantially different machines. To find out how they stacked up against each other we hauled them out to the racetrack, followed by a few hundred mile sorties through the not-so-mean streets of Southern California. Let’s see how they stack up, shall we?

Harley Davidson Leather Jacket:Buying Tips
Welcome to Harley Davidson Accessories Guide.
After millions of years we still do what our ancestors did-cover and protect our skin with leather. A leather jacket is a biker's best friend. It does not only protect you from rain, cold, sand, gravel, minor abrasions( in case you crash) but it contributes to the overall looks and effect of a certain image you are trying to project.
A Harley Davidson leather jacket may be famous for giving the rider that bad boy image but the truth behind it is that it gives you ample protection and at the same time make the wearer feel luxurious. It is important to note that leather sizing is different from regular clothes sizing. If the leather jacket fit snugly the first time you wear it, it will stretch a little and mould to your body's shape overtime with constant wearing.
Harley Davidson leather jackets can be made of different types of leather like buffalo, cow, sheep, horse and kangaroo. Ideally, motorcycle leather jackets should be 1 to 1.5 millimeters thick. The thinner, softer and supple kind may look good and hug your curves but does not really have protective qualities unlike the heavy , thick kind.
Jacket length is important to consider if you are thinking of buying one. Short leather jackets maybe superior as far as aesthetics are concern but they have the tendency to slide up when you lean as you grab the handlebars. Leaving your back exposed and vulnerable to the elements.
If you are cultivating a king-sized gut, longer motorcycle leather jacket that reaches down your hips is more comfortable and keeps the breeze from blowing up your back in colder rides. The short motorcycle leather jacket is regarded as a weekend jacket and not many seasoned riders use it as a primary jacket.
Look for Harley Davidson leather jacket with sleeves that are pre-curved and tapered to mimic a riding position and long enough to cover your waist when your arms are stretch forward. The sleeves should fit snugly enough, so it won't buffet in the wind and can not pull up and expose your forearms. You will also want a little bit of adjust ability in the cuff area to accommodate watches or gloves or any additional layers of clothing when riding on chilly days.
You might want to stay away with leather jackets that have over sized zipper, fancy snaps or big buckles. they can come into constant contact with your bike more constantly and stretch your bike's paint.
So in a nutshell, buy a Harley Davidson leather jacket that not only feels comfortable, you look dashing in it,provides maximum protection and the kind that should increase your comfort level as you ride in different ranges of temperature.

Why Wear A Harley Davidson Full Face Helmet?
Welcome to Harley Davidson Accessories Guide...
The next most important accessory to buy after you have bought your Harley Davidson motorcycle is a Harley Davidson full face helmet. The process of finding the right helmet could be as daunting and challenging as buying your Harley bike. What with all the varying models and sizes that are available in today's motorcycle helmet market would make one dizzy with lots of choices.
Best of all you want superior comfort and maximum protection all the while looking your best and a Harley Davidson full face helmet offers just that.
In the event of a crash consider your face being hit first. Wearing a Harley Davidson full face helmet makes you say, I'm glad i have that on. Many riders who winded up in long term care or permanently disabled from neck, facial or head injuries would have appreciated how valuable a helmet can be to prevent that kind of devastation.

Some riders prefer open-face helmets because for them it cools their faces especially riding during hot summer days. And more riders even say that there's no comfortable helmet out there. I'd say they are irresponsible if not uninitiated. They don't realize the risks involved in riding. Statistics show that riders who wear helmets during a crash save their lives and suffer less injuries than those didn't. Moreover, riders who wear Harley Davidson full face helmets have full coverage over their heads thus benefit from maximum protection because no area is left unprotected.
If you are the kind of rider who loves to go cross country cruising or someone who enjoys riding all year round , wearing Harley Davidson full face helmet is definitely the best option for you. You can adjust your lock down visor if you feel the winter wind is nipping. If your bike has windshield, the helmet will protect your face from buffeting winds. A Harley Davidson full face helmet also protects you from sunburns, rain, hail. sand, gravel and bugs.
Others insist that the full coverage helmet limits your peripheral vision and mutes the noise all around you. While a full face helmet muffles external sounds from the environment when riding, considerably that is a good thing. You want to hear the more important sounds that concern you like- engines and tires of approaching vehicles, police or ambulance sirens, voices of pedestrians or something may have fallen off from your bike. By wearing a Harley Davidson full face helmet you will have reduced wind roars and all around noise is muted off, enabling you to hear the more important sounds like the ones aforementioned. It will also keep you alert by reducing fatigued from the wind. And you will not damage your hearing capacity of the effects of wind noise and loud exhaust if you wear a Harley Davidson full face helmet.
Best of all you want superior comfort and maximum protection all the while looking your best and a Harley Davidson full face helmet offers just that.

2010 LOTUS Car Concept
MID I6 CONCEPT CAR LOTUS EUROPA 2010
This is the concept of South African designer Idries Noah Lotus Europa I6 that looks a bit like the Elise / Exige.
Europa I6 concept study is mid-engined, rear wheel drive sports car inspiration in design by the classic Europa and Elite as well as by Lotus model. Independent designer supports that ideally, the Europa I6 will weigh approximately 2030 pounds (920 kg) with power derived from the supercharged 2.0-liter inline six cylinder engines.
In theory, he said that the sports car will run from zero to 100 km / h (62mph) in 7 seconds and a top speed of 165 mph or 265 km / h. Apart from the theoretical technical specifications, Idries' take a compact mid-engined coupe hits Lotus sports in place. Unfortunately, he is only in the digital world.
I really liked the old classic Europa with the high rear. That is character. The newest version looks very similar to the Elise / Exige, Europa is not enough. I decided to take my own. Inspired by classic Lotus cars, Europa and Elite. Also take a moment to consider this trend Lotus. This is called the 2010 Europa I6.

REVIEW: Driven: 2010 Ferrari California
REVIEW: Driven: 2010 Ferrari California
Through a coincidence in time or just luck, I was lucky enough
California is full of firsts: the first-ever front-mounted V-8-engined Ferrari, this is the first use of direct injection in the Ferrari, and Ferrari's first dual-clutch automated manual transmission. This was also the first Ferrari built on modular architecture, and the first built on the new production line really scary in modernity. I can tour the facility last month, and the California production line is clean, quiet, and freakishly automatic. On the one hand, computerized, mass production just makes California somehow, seem less special; on the other hand, this ensures the highest quality level. I think the tradeoff is worth it, especially for the Ferrari which is inherently less special than the others.
Screeeetch - less special? I mean no insult by that of California. That's the most expensive in the Ferrari offers a stable, but that's only part of the reason why. Another reason is that I equate "special" with "crazy." I, automotive certified lunatic, worship F430 to madness. I like the way crackles and barks and screams. I love how the little children fear and adults with an acoustic attack; how accelerated and shift with such violence that makes the hysterical passenger. I like how the residents feel under attack by every pebble on the road after their appeal with the sights and smells of the world's best material.
Some, however, might find F430 slightly more. For these people, Ferrari makes California. California is softer, lighter, less crazy Ferrari. Ergo, it is less specific for crazy people like me, but no less specialized in the real world. A grand tourer in the traditional sense of the word, Ferrari's hard-top convertible soft and luxurious. The level of his voice and a quiet ride by Ferrari standards, and the cabin is elegant and luxurious.
