Highlights of the 2010 Harley-Davidson® line include:

  • As the new king of the Harley-Davidson Touring line, the Electra Glide® Ultra Limited model delivers the performance upgrade of a Twin Cam 103(TM) engine, and features standard equipment items previously offered only as accessories on regular-production Harley-Davidson Touring models.
  • The new Road Glide® Custom model looks lean and mean, with a slammed suspension, 18-inch front wheel and a new 2-into-1 exhaust system.
  • The Wide Glide® returns as an all-new Dyna® model done in old-school chopper style, with black laced wheels, a chopped rear fender, black "wire" sissy bar, 2-1-2 Tommy Gun exhaust and an optional flame paint scheme. Priced starting at $14,499, the Wide Glide is also a great new value.
  • The new Street Glide® Trike brings stripped-down, hot-rod styling to the three-wheel category, and joins the Tri Glide(TM) Ultra Classic® in an all new Trike family for 2010.
  • Dressed in satin chrome and denim black, the new Fat Boy® Lo presents a darker and lower interpretation of the motorcycle that still defines the fat-custom segment.
  • The 2010 Street Glide® model gets even more hot-rod soul, with updates that include a larger front wheel, slimmed-down exhaust, and a new tail light assembly. Street Glide takes a classic Harley-Davidson Touring profile to a low, light and lean extreme.
No motorcycle on the road today matches the modern street attitude of the three exciting models in the Harley-Davidson VRSC(TM) family: V-Rod®, Night Rod® Special and V-Rod Muscle®. The explosive performance of the liquid cooled Revolution® V-Twin engine keeps VRSC at the top of the power cruiser food chain in 2010.

The American motorcycle legend that is Harley-Davidson Sportster® features six models for 2010, including the $7,999 Iron 883(TM) introduced mid-year 2009 and four others priced less than $10,000.

Harley-Davidson Custom Vehicle Operations(TM) (CVO(TM)), masters of shimmering chrome and bold paint, offers four new limited-production models for 2010. The CVO Softail® Convertible is a versatile urban touring motorcycle, while the CVO Street Glide is a high-performance hot-rod bagger. The CVO Ultra Classic® Electra Glide® and CVO Fat Bob® models are refreshed for 2010 with new paint schemes and styling details. Taking its cues from one of the world’s most successful racing machines – the iconic XR750 – the XR1200 range was born out of a desire for a street smart Harley- Davidson motorcycle that is just as dominant through the twisties. Combining American racing heritage with European style, XR1200 motorcycles are built for sheer riding pleasure. Powered by fuel-injected 1202cc engines with precision-cooled cylinder heads, they deliver wave after wave of impressive torque through a 5-speed gearbox down into a bespoke set of Dunlop Qualifier tyres.

First came the original XR1200. Designed with the European rider in mind, it demonstrates agility and focus not traditionally found on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The distinctive paint job and retro graphics echo its dirt bike heritage, while the flat track style speedo, exhaust, tail section and wheels are suitably refined for modern roads.

The latest incarnation – 2009’s all-new XR1200X – is as much an upgrade as it is an evolution of the XR concept. The updated styling has a predatory edge: the blacked- out engine casing, upside-down forks, and a matt black tail, tank and fender create a more aggressive presence. And, just like its predecessor, there is real substance behind the style. Sport-tuned Showa piggyback suspension offers up enhanced performance and firmer handling. The Wide Glide has been resurrected for another run in 2010. Last seen as a special 105th Anniversary model in 2008, the latest addition to the Dyna family has lowered front and rear suspension that drops the seat height to 25.5 inches. Team that with its signature wide front end, a black-wire sissy bar on the back sitting on a chopped rear fender and you've got a brand new motorcycle with ageless, throw-back styling. Harley-Davidson has recently launched the 2010 model range featuring nine brand new models. This is the effect of the company now investing in the brand, despite poor sales. The expected result is to conquer the new generation and so bring a new wave of Harley buyers.

The new models address to all kinds of riders and benefit of Harley’s new plating process called "Midnight Pearl" and used to add a nice detail to components such as the headlight cover, timer and derby covers, fender strut covers found on the CVO Fat Bob.

Its 21-inch tall front wheel sits out at 34-degrees on a 49mm front fork with extra space between the fork and frame created by wide polished aluminum triple clamps. Even the fuel tank has been tilted up .75-inch to give it more chopper flair. Internal wiring and drag-style handlebars sitting on four-inch-high black risers keep the front end clean.

The back end features the chopped rear fender that sits above new Michelin Scorcher tires. The large, central tail lamp has been abandoned for dual red LED rear stop/turn/tail lights. As a result of bobbing the fender, the license plate mount has been moved to the left side of the chassis.
